The Story of Wallis American Legion Post 200

From a handful of returning veterans to a cornerstone of the community.

When veterans returned home to Wallis, they brought with them a desire to keep serving their fellow veterans and their town. Out of that purpose, American Legion Post 200 was born.

A Legacy of Service

Over the decades, Post 200 has been a place of meetings and memorials, fellowship and fundraising. Generations of members have answered the call to support veterans, mentor youth, and strengthen the community of Wallis and the surrounding counties.

  • Chartered by veterans committed to continued service
  • A gathering place through war and peace alike
  • Home to programs that have shaped local students and families
  • A steady presence honoring those who served and those who fell

Our history is still being written. Joining the Post adds your chapter to the story.
